For the last one year I have been working to change medicine from within and without. I start with the intention to help my patients create health over the long term, and not simply suppress symptoms. I work with them closely to discover the roots of their illness or dis-ease and engage them fully in their own healing process. This requires a new model of collaboration between patient and physician. The word ancient root of the word "doctor" means "teacher". I teach my patients to unravel the threads of their disease while learning how to care for their bodies and souls.
